Does an application have to be made before a specific date?

The priority closing date for applications to the Central Applications Facility (CAF) was the 7th of September 2004. After this date, applications are still being accepted. Preference will be given to those who apply after the 7th of September in the order of the date of application. Should a number of applications be made on the same day, the ranking will be on the basis of seniority. [HR Document: Para 2.2.12]
