Can I make changes to my application? If I do, what will the consequences be?

Changes can be made to an application for decentralisation at any time.

If an application is a priority application (i.e. an application which was made before 7 September 2004) and it is changed to reflect either a change in choice of location or a change in grade (i.e. as a result of promotion), the applicant will lose priority status on the CAF. The revised application will be placed at the end of the queue and dealt with in order of the date on which the applicant made the change.

Changes to any of the other sections of an application will not change the priority status of the application. These sections are as follows:  Work address; Question on whether you are currently in an IT Role; Question on proficiency in Irish; Question on status of employment; All questions relating to contracts; All questions on work-sharing; All questions relating to a partner.
