Dublin Arrangements

Is Dublin a location on the CAF?

No. The  purpose of the CAF is to facilitate transfers out of Dublin.  No centralised arrangements have been agreed with the staff unions in relation to facilitating the assignment of staff to Dublin from the provinces.  Such an agreement will be necessary in the medium to longer-term, in the context of the deveopment of (a) regional recruitment systems building on the existing regional arrangements and (b) regional promotion structures across Departments.
