Equivalent Grades, Corresponding Level Grades

How are staff at the same and equivalent grades assigned?

First preference priority staff at the same or an equivalent grade are assigned, on the basis of seniority in the grade, to decentralising posts after the following have been assigned:

• all staff currently serving in the post being decentralised;
• all staff serving at the same grade in the same organisation;
• all staff on existing transfer lists.
